2010-P Tekonsha Trailer Breakaway Switch - This Breakaway Switch comes with a 48 inch Cable and Nylon Pin Assembly. The completely sealed breakaway will automatically set your trailer brakes in case of accidental trailer breakaway and is required by law in some states. It is for emergency use only, it is NOT to be used to lock brakes when parked or stored. It is made with a reinforced nylon case and weldable metal tab, the cable and nylon pin assembly and are rust and corrosion free. Dimensions: (Metal Base) 4-1/4 inch x 1-1/2 inch, metal end has a hexagon (six sided) shaped hole for pull pin and (Nylon Case) 3 inch x 3/4 inch x 1-3/4 inch and has a rounded end.
