It is made of strong, lightweight plastic that makes it easy to transport, has a foam gasket around the lid to help make the box weather resistand and it has a rigid plastic frame that resists warping. It also has a double-walled lid for extra strength and support and has convenient cup holders molded into the lid. Plastic has a classic Brite-tread textured pattern. Made in the USA.
