4 inch Drop Self Locking Ball Mount - This ball mount features an integrated self-lock system to secure ball mount inside trailer hitch, eliminating the need for pins and clips or other locks. It uses a convenient, high-security barrel-type key that is easily-accessible from the front and has heavy-duty rubber seals on the lock for longer life. Constructed with aircraft-grade high-strength polished billet aluminum, this single-body shank design prevents fatiguing and breaking often associated with welded or two-body ball mounts. It has spring loaded steel anti-rattle balls located on the top side of the shank to help eliminate noise and reduce wear and tear on the ball mount and receiver tube. (Please note that this feature is only intended to reduce noise and wear when the ball mount it is not being used to tow a trailer and that the spring loaded anti-rattle balls may not work or be effective on all applications.) Rated at 14,000lbs. GTW and up to 2,000lbs. tongue weight. Designed for 2 inch x 2 inch receiver hitches and provides a 3 inch rise or a 4 inch drop from top of receiver hitch tube opening.
